This will be a conference with participation of researchers who are involved in postgraduate research. The aim of the conference is to

• Discuss practical ideas on postgraduate education
• Exchange views on current research and good practice in the field
• To establish a regional network of postgraduate researchers

Papers on the following topics (but not limited to) are invited for panel discussion and poster sessions.

• Practical ideas on doctoral supervision
• Current research and good practices in doctoral education

Format of presentations:
Panel discussion

• These sessions will comprise individuals who have submitted both an abstract and, upon acceptance, a completed paper. Completed papers, between 3000-5000 words, are due by the 10th April 2010. These papers will be uploaded to the conference web-site to enable participants to read prior to attending the panel discussions. Committee members group the papers into sessions of 3 to 5 panelists whose papers reflect a common theme.
• Participants will give a brief 10 minute presentation of their own paper and will be expected to answer moderator's and audience questions. These 45 min – 60 min sessions foster lively discussions.

Poster Presentation

• Presenters will be given fifteen minutes to present during an allocated time.
