The APEA is a broad group of professionals including gynaecologists, laparoscopic surgeons, researchers, and educators, all with a specific interest in endometriosis. We hope to share our expertise, enhance research opportunities, and give our region an international voice. APEA was formed at the last World Endometriosis Congress, Maastricht, 2005. We complement endometriosis groups associated with ESHRE (Europe) and the ASRM (North America). APEA aims to improve the care that women with endometriosis receive by providing practical support and education to the professionals who care for them.
